Tell us about your store

Denise's Boutique is an iconic store in Toronto that has been established for over 20 years. It is a favourite shopping destination for locals and customers from all over Australia who look for the black and white awning and know that they will find something special to wear.  

Who is your customer profile? 

Our customers enjoy life and love their fashion. Comfort and fit is really important and they know that they will find something perfect for them at our store. 

What sets your boutique apart? 

We strive for excellence with our customer service and really look after our ladies in a very special way. We offer a free alteration service and a bespoke shopping experience. We have an extensive variety of fashion brands, shoes, jewellery, Canopy Bay Hats, accessories and even a unique range of greeting cards. 

What is your best style tip? 

Each garment must fit properly and suit your body shape. When you wear your clothes properly your confidence is elevated, and your posture even improves.  

What makes your day? 

Our beautiful customers sharing their experiences and complimenting our store. We are all part of a big happy family. 

How do you sprinkle kindness? 

We offer a coffee, a chat, a comfy chair and even dog sit occasionally. We make our customers feel special because they are to us. 

Apart from your bricks and mortar store, how else do you market your goods? 

We are now using Instagram to showcase our windows and brands. Although this is new to us we can see that it’s important to be seen and we are happy to share. 

What’s the best thing to do in your location, other than shop at your store? 

Toronto is a beautiful suburb in the Lake Macquarie Region of NSW. The lake is twice the size of Sydney Harbour with boating, fishing, bush walks and great restaurants on offer. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing weekend stay. 

Is there a local business you’d like to recommend, preferably a female led one, which aligns with our campaign? 

I love going to Cleaver’s Cafe and have my first morning coffee there every day. Everything is house baked daily on the premises and their service is fantastic.  

What are your thoughts about Philosophy? 

We are big fans of the Philosophy Australia brand and admire their ethical way of doing business. The brand is 100% made in Sydney so we are also supporting Australian made. The team we work with are supportive, understanding and continue to provide us with great designs at an affordable price each season.
