Tell us about your store

Gayle's Boutique caters for all age groups and is a treasure trove of colour and style. We are known for our funky elegance where we dress our customers and send them on their way to functions or just everyday events. Our customers enjoy a personalised shopping experience, and they value our service and advice. 

What sets your boutique apart? 

We offer unique and hand selected fashion that is curated for our customers. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and offer fashion parades and workshops throughout the year. We are known for building a true sense of community.  

What is your best style tip? 

Wear what is comfortable but change up your colours at times to make you "look and feel fabulous". This always works for special occasions such as weddings, the races, or a great night out. Dare to be a little different. 

What makes your day? 

The smile on a customer’s face when they are excited about their purchases. Sometimes this is a real process, and when it all comes together it is magical.

We absolutely love it when we hear about the compliments our customers received when they were wearing an outfit we put together in the store. We never get tired of hearing how happy our customers are when wearing our clothes. 

How do you sprinkle kindness? 

We are very involved in in the local community and support many charities including the Uniting Church local op shop. We cohost fashion parades outside the store for charitable events to support Parkinsons. We celebrate Mother’s Day, Easter, Christmas and all the big dates with a bang. 

Apart from your bricks and mortar store, how else do you market your goods? 

We are very active on social media and have our own website (www.gaylesboutique.com). We are building our subscriber base and communicating via SMS and email. It is amazing how far and wide our online customers come from, and we love offering them our special customer service.  

What is the best thing to do in your location other than shop at your store? 

We are situated in an area of Sydney that is rich in culture and offers an extensive choice of great restaurants. There are walking tracks around the parks and along the river so it’s easy to stay fit in Concord. Families visit from all over Australia and enjoy the outdoors, pools, and fun to be had in our area. 

Is there a local business you would like to recommend? 

We do love our daily coffee and food from CNR58 Cafe. The owners are great people who love and support our local community. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook. 

What are your thoughts about Philosophy? 

We love the Philosophy brand, their clothing is very true to size, and the team are so helpful at their head office. We are always confident that, for example, a size 12 is in fact a size 12, as there is never any fit or quality issues with this brand.

We are very proud to stock Philosophy and know that every garment is made here in Sydney. We are also lucky that we can pop in to see the staff to collect stock, have a chat and know that they support us in every way possible.
