Tell us about your store

We are a third generation family-owned business. We have over 400 brands across 14 departments and see ourselves as a one-stop department store that can outfit the whole family.

As well as clothing, we have Footwear, Manchester, Craft material and supplies and Curtains & Blinds. You can shop in store or online and we have a customer carpark at the rear of the store.

What is your customer profile?

We cater for the whole family … literally from newborn clothing through to Ladieswear and Menswear. More specifically, in our Ladieswear department, we have an awesome customer base of all ages. We see a lot of the country mums coming in from the properties as they pick up children from boarding school or are on their way to holidays at the coast. We also see a lot of visitors to the store as people are making their way out west from the city.

What sets your boutique apart?

Our motto is “The Unique Shopping Experience” because there are not many independent family stores like ours still operating. We really are known for our customer service and our customers are very important to us.

What is your best style tip?

“A splash of colour never hurts."  Our country customers love classic designs and styles that can be used practically, in various situations; but there is something nice about a splash of colour, whether that be in the form of a scarf or belt, your shoes or a bag.

What makes your day?

For us, a happy customer always makes our day. It is particularly satisfying to receive positive feedback about the collections we have in store or to see customers happy with their new outfit that we have helped put together for a particular occasion.

How do you sprinkle kindness?

I believe that you need to treat people the way you expect to be treated.

Apart from your bricks and mortar store, how else do you market your goods?

We sponsor a lot of local sporting clubs, schools, and local fundraising events. There are our social media campaigns but we also still advertise on the local TV, radio and in the local newspaper.

What’s the best thing to do in your location, other than shop at your store?

We are the “Garden City”, and we have some awesome parks and gardens available to discover. Toowoomba is a great location because we have the best of the city shopping, with the country hospitality.
