Sarah Lyn Lingerie & Fashion Boutique is every fashion lover’s paradise in Darwin! It's a one-stop shop with stylish fashion, everyday bras and underwear, and designer lingerie.  

The boutique’s fit-out is elegant with sparkling chandeliers and chic decor, and it’s big enough to rival a mini department store floor. Sarah Lyn, run by well-known Territorian Vivienne Lee for more than 25 years, boasts top-notch brands like Philosophy Australia alongside other stylish Australian and international labels. From casual jeans to classy gowns - we've got garments for all occasions, styles, shapes and sizes from 8 to 24. 

Sarah Lyn is the only non-franchised lingerie store in town, so you're also supporting a local business. It’s the go-to spot for bra fittings and larger bust customers are well catered for, selling and fitting to a ‘M’ cup size. Whether you're a teenager, an expectant mom, or a mature lady, our loyal customers swear by the expertise and range.

Who is your customer? 

Sarah Lyn has young teenagers looking for their first bra, expectant mums, powerbrokers, entrepreneurs - all the way to ladies of all ages glamming up for a special occasion or event. The only common denominator is they expect high quality, excellent customer service, and to walk out happy with their purchase and experience. 

What sets your boutique apart? 

Sarah Lyn is the only store in the Northern Territory that sells both high-quality lingerie and fashion. We also have a range of international labels sold exclusively locally and offer free bra fittings as part of our lingerie service. 

What is your best style tip? 

Make sure your bra fits correctly. It's important to provide your bust with the right support for comfort, posture, and health. The right bra gives your bust a lift, great shape and is comfortable and supportive. 

Bra straps cutting into your shoulders and breasts spilling from the cup are clues that you’re wearing the wrong bra. A good bra enhances your silhouette and in turn your outfit. At Sarah Lyn, we specialise in women with larger breasts and offer free bra fittings, so you have no excuse! 

What makes your day? 

Happy and satisfied customers! I love seeing young mums discovering comfortable maternity bras, some even grabbing their very first bra as a teenager from me. I’ve served and helped thousands of women; many I consider friends while others live interstate but always visit my shop when in town. I can honestly say I love my job - not many people can - so I consider myself blessed. 

How do you sprinkle kindness? 

Sarah Lyn Lingerie & Fashion Boutique has supported many local charities and events throughout the years. As soon as I turned a profit, I dug deep and supported charities or not-for-profit organisations such as CareFlight and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

This year, I’m helping our furry friends at the local RSPCA. Jake and his team are amazing, and I love animals especially dogs, and all the organisation’s work. So, I’m personally donating, and my boutique is supporting and selling tickets to their annual Save the Paws Ball in October. I’ve always believed in giving back and it’s fantastic I’m in a position where I can. 

Apart from your bricks and mortar store, how else do you market your goods?  

Television advertising, sponsorship, social media, passing traffic and we’re soon relaunching our website. I’ve had tourists come in after seeing our television ads and our Facebook page tends to get a lot of traction.

What are your thoughts about Philosophy? 

I love Philosophy’s pants. They are comfortable, flattering and easy to dress up or down. The label is proving very popular with our customers. I own several and they’re great to wear to work and then afterwards - slick on some fresh lippie and you’re ready to dazzle!
